Avoid the hassles of Airport Security and Customs and don't worry about yours getting damaged, lost or stolen while you're on vacation. It's really simple: US$99.00 for up to 10 nights and US$5.00 per night after that. There are absolutely no hidden charges or setup fees and we will deliver the laptop to your room before you arrive and pick it up after you leave. We currently deliver to the Seven Mile Beach area only but can arrange drop-off at car rental offices on request. All laptops are modern Dell models with the following standard configuration:

Your privacy and the security of your data, e-mail, browsing history, passwords, etc. From a data perspective, the laptop that you will use will be as clean as if it were being used for the first time. It will contain no trace of the person who may have used it before you, and here's how that works: Before a laptop leaves our workshop, we create an exact duplicate (a cloned copy) of its hard drive using a hard drive cloner. The master drive then remains in our office. When we bring the laptop in after you have finished using it, the first thing that we do is to remove the hard drive from it and clone it from the master drive in our office, completely and irreversibly overwriting all data on the drive that was in the computer when you were using it. That process returns the laptop to the state it was in before you ever set a finger on it. As you should appreciate, this operation is the most secure way of making sure that no one can ever recover your private data such as your e-mail, browsing history, hidden passwords, etc. From our perspective, we don't want to have to figure out what changes you made to the computer while you were using it and then have to spend time reversing those changes. Cloning saves us time and gives you peace of mind that no one renting the laptop after you will ever be able to see anything that you did on it. This all being said, please feel free to use and customize any programs included with the computer, including MS Outlook or Outlook Express for your e-mail. Most people will probably choose to access their e-mail via a web interface and AOL users can get their e-mail by going to the AOL.com website. Be sure to confirm that you know how to access your e-mail via the web on your own PC before leaving home. It has happened before that someone thought they knew their e-mail password but were wrong. For the ultra paranoid, before we take back in the laptop we can remove and sell you the hard drive. That way, you can take it home, reformat it and use it as a backup drive by putting it in an external housing. A replacement drive from Hitachi or Western Digital will cost us approximately US$75.00 and we'll willingly sell you the one from your rental laptop, at cost, if it gives you peace of mind about the privacy and security of your data. ***Privacy Tip*** Use Mozilla Firefox for browsing the web securely by first clicking "Tools" and then "Start Private Browsing" on the menu bar. That way no private information will be recorded and there will be no record of which sites you visit or of any information you enter such as usernames, passwords, etc. Before it is delivered to you, the laptop will be cleaned using sanitizing sprays and wipes and the keyboard will be vacuumed. We will make sure that the laptop you receive is as germ free as possible. We ask that you treat the laptop with care and that you not take it to the beach where it may be exposed to salt spray or sand particles.
